The iPhone 4S looks exactly like it's predecessor the iPhone 4 on the surface. However, the 4S is much more powerful on the inside and offers some features not available on the previous models.
The iPhone 4S features a range of improved hardware specifications and software updates compared to the previous model. Integrated software and hardware changes support the introduction of new user interface and functions by Apple. Highlights include a voice recognizing and talking assistant called Siri, personal computer independence, cloud-sourced data (iCloud) and an improved camera system. A selection of the device's functions can be controlled by voice.
In this model, Apple has re-designed the antenna which was causing problems in the iPhone 4. Apple has also included a much more powerful camera (capable of shooting video at 1080p). In order to accomplish all of this, the iPhone 4S is equipped with a dual core A5 processor and the maximum hard drive space has been bumped up to 64gb (double what was previously offered).
The iPhone 4S is the first iPhone to be offered across three US carriers (AT&T, Sprint and Verizon).
