The sixth generation iPod Classic (MB029LL/A) features an 80GB or 160GB (4200RPM) ATA-66 hard drive and 64MB of RAM and is capable of holding up to 20,000 or 40,000 songs or up to 100 or 200 hours of video (in H.264 750-Kbps video with 128-Kbps audio) respectively. The 2.5” color LCD display (320x240) uses a thinner case than the iPod 5G enhanced and features a silver or black anodized aluminum front and chromed stainless steel back. Battery life is estimated at 30 hours of music and 5 hours for the 80GB model and 40 hours of music and 7 hours of video for the 160GB model. This model no longer supports video out directly from the headphone jack, but only from the dock.
