On September 5, 2007 the all new iPod nano 3G/Fat (MA978LL/A) was released. It is wider than the previous Nano and has the appearance of a smaller version iPod classic. It uses 4GB or 8GB of flash memory capable of holding 1000 or 2000 songs, 3500 or 7000 photos. This is also the first iPod nano that supports video playback with holding 4 hours or 8 hours of video (in H.264 750-Kbps video with 128-Kbps audio). The 4GB models is only available in silver, and the 8GB model is available in silver, light blue, light green, black, and Special Edition red. All of them feature a 2 inch color LCD display, video out, chromed stainless steel back, and 24 hours of music playback. iQuiz, Klondike, and Vortex were three games bundled with the iPod nano 3G.
