The iPod U2 Special Edition 5G Enhanced (MA664LL/A) is internally the same as the iPod 5G Enhanced 30GB configuration. Like the previous U2 Edition iPod, the 5G U2 Edition features a red clickwheel and black front but changed the rear case to a gloss black metal with laser-etched autographs of the U2 band members. It is capable of storing up to 7,500 songs, 40 hours of video, and up to 25,000 photos. Software upgrades support a search function, screen brightness control and additional iconography. Like the iPod 5G Enhanced, redesigned earphones ship with the iPod 5G Enhanced which are designed to stay put without foam caps.
